What Is Profhilo Structura

Profhilo Structura is an advanced injectable aesthetic treatment made from a high concentration of hyaluronic acid (HA). It is designed to improve both skin quality and deeper facial structure. Unlike traditional dermal fillers, it does not add volume in a targeted way. Instead, it works more to restore support and improve overall facial contours.  It is particularly suited to treating areas such as the cheeks, mid-face, and jawline, where early signs of ageing—such as volume loss and mild sagging—tend to appear.

Profhilo Structura is used to address several common concerns associated with ageing, including:

  • Loss of cheek volume or hollowing

  • Mild sagging and reduced facial definition

  • Thinning or less elastic skin

  • Fine lines and dull skin texture

The results are typically subtle and natural-looking. Patients often notice improved skin firmness, smoother texture, and a healthier overall appearance, along with a gentle lifting effect.

How Does It Work?

Profhilo Structura works differently from traditional fillers.

  • It is injected into deeper tissue layers, including areas of subcutaneous fat

  • It uses a specialised hyaluronic acid complex designed to spread evenly

  • It stimulates the production of collagen and elastin

  • It helps support and “recondition” underlying fat structures

In simple terms, it encourages the skin and supporting tissues to regenerate and behave more like younger skin, rather than simply adding volume.

Is There Any Downtime?

There may be mild injection-related reactions such as bleeding, bruising or swelling which usually resolves within a few hours to a few days after treatment but you can usually resume your normal daily activities immediately.  You may be advised to avoid strenuous exercise, intense sun exposure and alcohol for a few days after treatmetnt.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

Profhilo Structura is administered in two seperate appointments spaced 4 weeks apart.

When Will I See Results?

Results develop gradually.

  • Initial improvements in skin hydration and texture may be noticeable within 1–2 weeks

  • More visible lifting and firming effects typically appear around 4–6 weeks after the second treatment

  • Results continue to improve over time as collagen production increases
