The ‘Coolest’ Thing This Summer is CoolTech Fat Freezing

Hands up now…Who has a muffin top that they’d like to get rid of? What about a love handle or two? Beer belly anyone?

If you said ‘yes’ to any of those, then you’re not alone.

All of us, both men and women, have areas of stubborn fat, or ‘wobbly bits’ as I like to call them, that we’d like to see gone, and diet and exercise isn’t always the easy answer.

Often, small areas of excess fat on our hips, buttocks, arms, waist and back can be some of the hardest to shift with just a diet of Special K and spin classes. No matter what you do, some fat pockets just remain. So, that’s where CoolTech Fat Freezing treatments at Hilton Skin & Body Clinics in Reading can come to the rescue; just in time for looking your ‘coolest’ this summer.

The CoolTech system uses a technology called ‘cryolipolysis’ where cryo refers to the use of very cold temperatures and lipolysis is the medical term used to describe the breakdown or destruction of fat cells – thus this treatment is often also known as ‘fat freezing’.

The main advantage of cryolipolysis treatment is that it’s less invasive than other fat reducing procedures such as liposuction, which involves an incision in the skin and the removal of fat cells under suction through a cannula or tube.

CoolTech is much more gentle than liposuction – it’s less invasive, less painful and requires less down-time or recovery – yet results can still lead to a 20% reduction in fat in the area being treated.

Treatment involves the placement of special cold gel pads on the areas of the body which are being treated; this is to protect the underlying skin. Then we place the CoolTech applicators onto the area. The applicator is designed to suck in the tissue into its cup-like head and then cool it for approximately an hour, depending on where we are treating.

The only sensation is a tugging feeling as the applicator pulls or sucks in the area being treated; after a few minutes this will become less noticeable and you can quite happily read, listen to music, watch TV or any other activities with mobile devices and tablets whilst you wait for the treatment session to conclude. Some people have even been known to fall asleep!

The aim of treatment is to cool the fat cells down to a level whereby they die and expel their contents, this is achieved at a temperature of -7°C or -8°C. This can be done without damaging the surrounding tissue of skin and muscle which can tolerate cold temperatures much better than the fat cells themselves, which have a weakness to the cold. Once the fat cells are weakened and destroyed, the body is able to metabolise the fat content through the lymphatic system over the coming weeks and months, and a noticeable reduction in the size of the treatment area becomes apparent.

Both men and women can benefit from fat freezing treatments. At Hilton Skin & Body Clinics we can use CoolTech to reduce stubborn areas of fat in the stomach, back, lower buttocks, inner and outer thighs, flanks, arms and knees, as well as the aforementioned love handles, muffin tops, saddle bags, bingo wings and bra bulges.

So, on your marks, get set…race you to looking ‘cool’ on the beach this summer!

You Don’t Need to Live With Tattoo Regret – Get Laser Tattoo Removal in Reading

According to a survey from YouGov, the well-known British polling company, approximately 19% of Brits have been ‘inked’ and have one or more tattoos. Around a quarter of Americans are also said to have tattoos, making them a pretty popular ‘accessory’ or body modification in the modern world.

After many years of taboos and tattoo stereo-types linked to sailors and Hell’s Angels bikers, tattoos are now very popular amongst celebrities, and favoured more and more by women and the young than ever before.

Many people would no longer bat an eyelid to learn that a friend, work colleague or family member had a tattoo.

Sadly, though, the decision to have a tattoo can often be little thought through, happening on a whim, sometimes with the involvement of an alcohol-affected mind on a holiday trip abroad, or as a reflection of a passion at a point in time during someone’s life.

This often leads to what is now termed as ‘tattoo regret’, whereby at some point after getting the tattoo, this could be months or even years, the owner of the tattoo comes to dislike it, even hate it and regrets the decision to have the particular image, symbol or text, or even the location of the inking.

Some surveys claim that as many as one in six people hate their tattoos for one reason or another, and some fear that they will look awful as they age or may hold them back in their career development or relationships.

Top reasons for tattoo regret include ex-lovers’ names, misspelt foreign words or symbols with incorrect meanings, rude or offensive images and cartoons or images which are no longer fashionable.

Certain styles, once popular and ‘trendy’ are now also viewed with regret, such as Celtic bands, often located around the upper arm in men and so called ‘tramp stamps’ located on the lower back, above the knicker line on women.

Luckily, and unlike puppies, tattoos are not for life and there is a solution – Laser Tattoo Removal can now be used to erase the mistake and remove the offending inking.

Harmony XL Pro

At Hilton Skin & Body Clinics in Reading we are able to offer laser tattoo removal using our new Harmony XL Pro platform which has a Q-Switched Nd:Yag 1064nm wavelength laser for targeting darker coloured tattoos such as black, blue and green, as well as a KTP adaptor which creates a 532nm wavelength laser to treat lighter and bright colours of inks, as have become more popular in recent years, including red, yellow and orange. This device means that we can easily and effectively treat multi-coloured tattoos.

The lasers work by targeting the pigment or colour in the tattoo inks and breaking them up through heat. This makes the ink particles smaller and means that the body is able to metabolise them and thus remove them from within the skin, without damaging the surrounding skin.

Several treatment sessions will be required to remove the ink, depending on the type of tattoo – both the ink colours and the original depth of their placement – as well as the size of the tattoo being removed. You can therefore expect to see a gradual fading of the tattoo in between treatment sessions, which are spaced approximately a month apart to allow the area to heal and the body to flush the ink particles away, before further laser energy is applied. The amount of time needed for a satisfactory removal of the tattoo will depend on the type, location and size.

If you’d like more information about Laser Tattoo Removal treatments with the Harmony XL Pro, then please contact Hilton Skin & Body Clinics in Reading today to book a consultation to have your tattoo analysed.

5 Spring Skincare Tips!

It’s officially Spring, at last!

This means warmer days, lighter evenings, more time outside and signs of new life all around us. You might be surprised to learn that our bodies grow more during the warmer months too; honestly! Children have more growth spurts during this time, and our hair grows and sheds more in warmer times. If you think you feel more awake once Winter is over, then you’re probably not wrong!

I’m sure you’ve all thought about spring cleaning your house, but have you thought about spring cleaning your skincare routine?

Well, listen up then because here are five great tips to get you back in tip top condition as we move into Spring and Summer.

5 Top Tips

1. Exfoliation and Cleansing – It’s time to slough off those dead and dull cells left over from your winter skin. Awaken the dermis again and encourage it to make new, healthy skin cells. This will also prepare the surface to receive enrichment from a bespoke skincare regime or other aesthetic treatments. It’s true that a gentle exfoliation can be achieved by applying topical skincare products, particularly those which contain fruit acids, but to really get the benefits from a nice deep-clean, we can offer you either a chemical skin peels or medical grade microdermabrasion to refresh your face. But, as well as removing dead skin cells, it’s important to invest time in cleansing your skin. This will clear congested pores to reveal brighter, healthier skin. Maintaining a good cleansing routine will in turn maintain good skin health, allowing our targeted skincare programmes to work as optimally as possible. Speak to us if you think you need help with your skincare routine. We offer professional skincare products from the ZO® Skin Health range, developed by world-famous American dermatologist Dr. Zein Obagi and can create a bespoke regime just for you to make sure your skin stays in the best condition possible throughout the year, no matter what the season or the weather.

2. Help your skin from the inside out – If our bodies are healthy, then chances are our skin will be healthier too. Winter is a time when our immune systems can be at an all-time low. We don’t get as many vitamins and minerals due to a of fresh fruit and vegetables, and our Vitamin D levels have plummeted due to a lack of sunshine. Topping up any deficiencies present in your body with IV vitamin drip therapy will give your skin a kick start too, in fact some of our bespoke Intravita drips are made using ingredients to specifically target anti-ageing.

3. Slap on the SPF – If you have been a bit slack with applying Sun Protection Factor (SPF) sunscreen over the Winter months, then now is the time to really ramp up your efforts. The sun will start to strengthen as we move into the warmer months of the year, so as well as the risks presented to our skin from skin cancer causing UV rays, it’s important to know that the sun is the primary cause of premature skin ageing, so your first line of defence against both is a broad-spectrum SPF product.

4. It’s not just about your face! – Don’t forget to give other areas some attention, particularly your hands and the décolletage, or chest area. As the weather warms up, the gloves and scarves will be put back into the cupboard and we start to expose more of our skin. Hydrating winter ravished hands and rejuvenating the neck- and bust-line with light weight hyaluronic acid dermal fillers is a great way to reinvigorate skin that has developed a crepiness associated with fine lines and wrinkles.

5. Start your hair removal journey – Spring is a great time of year to embark on a laser hair removal programme, so that you’re ready for carefree days on the beach in swimming shorts and bikinis. The hair growth cycle means that several treatments are needed, 4 to 6 weeks apart, to capture all the hair follicles at the right time of growth for their removal. We have the new Soprano ICE Platinum laser from Alma Lasers which offers a quick and pain-free solution to unwanted hair.

So, as you can see, there’s lots to spring cleaning to do! If you’re interested in learning more about the right skincare regime for your skin, then please contact Hilton Skin & Body Clinics in Reading today to book a consultation to discuss how we can help.

How Botox can give you the neck of an ancient Egyptian Queen with the Nefertiti Lift

When it comes to Egyptian history, there are many things we can all name that show the beauty of this ancient civilisation – the magnificent structure of the Pyramids and the Sphinx, the opulence and splendour of the tomb and death mask of King Tutankhamun, and the long, beautiful swan-like neck of his step-mother Queen Nefertiti.

The name Nefertiti is said to mean “a beautiful woman has come”. Looking at the famous bust of the lady herself, discovered by archaeologists in 1912, it’s clear to see that she was famed for having wonderfully high cheekbones, clear skin and most obviously, a long, smooth and slender neck. This artistic, 3,300-year-old ‘photograph’ of the Pharaoh’s wife has meant that much after her death she has become a time-less image of beauty, and something for both women, and those involved in cosmetic enhancement, to aspire to re-creating as a marker for perfection.

Unfortunately, even at the age of 40, (this is how old Nefertiti was when she died), many of us are not as lucky as the ancient Queen and are already showing signs of ageing in the jawline and neck. Jowling and the dreaded turkey neck are all too common for women (and men) as they age – leading to sagging skin, lines and wrinkles, (sometimes called necklace lines), and prominent downwards neck bands, known medically as platysmal bands.

You can see the platysmal bands (or muscles) in your neck by smiling wide and clenching your teeth tightly together at the same time.

All of these things can make a woman look much older than she is, even worse, if you have cosmetic treatments on your face but don’t consider the ageing of your neck, you can still end up ‘giving your real age away’ without realising.

But fear not, cosmetic treatments are now available to improve the ageing jawline and neck, to lift, smooth and tighten the area. Using Botox (Botulinum Toxin Type A), we also use a brand called Azzalure, we can offer a treatment known as the Nefertiti Lift.

To achieve the Nefertiti lift, our Consultant will assess your neck and jawline during a thorough consultation and prescribe the anti-wrinkle treatment that will redefine the area. Treatment involves injecting small quantities of the botulinum toxin into the lower jawline and the platysma muscles. This weakens and relaxes these neck muscles a little bit so that they stop pulling in a downwards direction, as their tension is reduced, and this causes an uplift effect from the facial muscles which tightens the area and reduces any sagginess in the neck and jawline. It also means that in those with very prominent platysmal bands at rest, they are softened and don’t stand out quite so much, giving a smoother appearance to the neck area, just like Nefertiti herself.

The results from treatment should be visible after a couple of weeks, with repeat treatment required approximately every 3 or 4 months, depending on the level of neck lifting needed.

To find out more about the Nefertiti Neck Lift using Botox simply contact Hilton Skin & Body Clinics today to book an appointment.

ZO Skincare by Dr Zein Obagi will redefine how you keep your skin healthy

It’s also the first thing to suffer from damage – whether from environmental factors such as UV radiation from the sun or air pollution, lifestyle factors such as smoking or poor diet, traumatic factors such as disease or accident, and the simple genetics of our DNA which has an effect on your skin colour, thickness and how it ages.

Most of the skin on our bodies is protected by the clothes that we wear, but our faces and hands are the areas which suffer the most from all of these factors as they are almost always exposed. This can result in dull, dehydrated skin, pigmentation (brown spots) and redness, as well as lines and wrinkles. Similarly, the face is also prone to skin conditions such as acne and rosacea.
So, our skin is pretty important, I hope you will agree!

That’s why at Hilton Skin & Body Clinics in Reading we want to do all that we can to help you to keep your skin as healthy as possible, and to protect it from all those factors which can age it and influence the overall health of your skin.

To do this, we offer the ZO skincare range, developed by leading American Dermatologist and world-renowned skincare expert, Dr. Zein Obagi.

This clinically proven skincare uses technologically advanced ingredients which fall into two categories of products within the range – ZO Skin Health and ZO Medical. The ZO Skin Health range offers effective, daily skincare with environmental protection, which is also a great aid to maintaining results from other aesthetic skin treatments that we offer at our clinic. The ZO Medical range is exactly what the name suggests, and gives us the ability to offer you products and professional treatments which can correct a variety of skin conditions through effective, topically applied skincare products, including professional peel treatments. ZO also provides great ongoing skin health maintenance to prevent the reoccurrence of persistent skin problems such as acne.
It’s easy to wonder why you can’t just pop into your local chemist and just grab some skincare off the shelf – ZO and the active ingredients within this huge range of advanced products is not something that you will be able to find on the High Street. The specialised ingredients, including antioxidants, have been combined in the ZO formulations to provide optimum efficacy which can then be prescribed in bespoke skincare regimes for you to do in the comfort of your own home, in between your visits to our clinic. Products fall into simple steps to make the skincare system easy to use – cleanse and scrub to get your skin ready by removing debris and dead skin cells from the surface, then comes the treatment step, followed by hydration and sun protection.

The ZO skincare range includes products to effectively target ageing, acne, sun damage (including sun protection products), hyperpigmentation (targeting brown age spots and skin lightening), sensitive skin conditions, rosacea and post procedure recovery. It also includes a range specially created for men, whose facial skin differs slightly from that of women.

To find out more about the ZO skincare programme, and how we can improve your skin health with these products, please contact Hilton Skin & Body Clinics to book in to see our skincare specialist.

Laser Hair Removal for men…Yes I did say for men!

Most of us, male or female, have some areas of unwanted hair, somewhere on our body. The desire to banish body hair, for one reason or another, is a growing trend, and that’s where laser hair removal can help. It’s not just for ladies’ legs, underarms and bikini lines though – men can have laser hair removal too.

Being well groomed is becoming much more popular with men, and more socially acceptable and desirable too; with guys eager to take care of the way that their bodies look. This trend has even been given a cool name – manscaping!

The likes of David Beckham and Brad Pitt are well known for investing time, effort and money in their appearance, so why should the average man in the street be any different!

Every man wants to look ‘buff’ on the beach, and using laser hair removal to zap that ‘man fur’ from your back or shoulders, or ‘sculpt’ your chest rug is something that we at Hilton Skin & Body Clinics can help you with.

Laser hair removal is a great way to give yourself better body definition by being hair free – many men are now embracing the hair free or smooth look, and are happy to get treatment on their chest, abs, shoulders, back, arms, buttocks and legs.

Being hair free, with smooth, touchable skin, gives men more confidence to wear fewer clothes and is often more comfortable for activities such as cycling, swimming and playing around on the beach. Plus, well, yes, it has to be said, ladies these days are loving the hair free look on their men too, so if you’re wanting to appeal more to the opposite sex then I’m sure you’ll be more inclined to consider this as an option – am I right guys?

Shaving may sound like the cheap answer, but in the long run, with the time taken, the cost of razors and shaving products, plus the increased damage you do to the surrounding skin every time that you run a razor blade over it, and the dreaded prickly stubble as hair grows back – laser hair removal is a much better, more permanent, and affordable option to go hair free.

Plus, now (springtime) is a great time to start your treatment programme so that you’re ready for ripping off that shirt on the beach or in the park this summer.

That’s because we have to treat the hair at a certain point in its growing cycle to effectively stop it from growing. Hair goes through different stages of development during approximately six weeks. Therefore, you will need several treatment sessions over a couple of months to get the best (long-term) results from your hair reduction treatment. During treatment, the laser light is absorbed by the pigment or colour in the hair follicle, this heats up and then destroys the hair so that it cannot grow. Surrounding skin is not affected.

At Hilton Skin & Body Clinics we use the Soprano Laser from Alma Lasers which is a pain-free option, as the laser is constantly in-motion. This means that treatment is very comfortable. (We know that men can be sensitive to pain as well, there’s no shame in it!)

To find out more about Laser Hair Removal for men please contact Hilton Skin & Body Clinics to book in to see our laser specialist.

Are you Red Carpet ready? Our non-surgical face lift is a must for all!

It’s true that we’re not all swanning about to celebrity-filled events, under the gaze and camera flashes of the paparazzi, but there’s no reason why that special party, wedding, school reunion, corporate event or job interview doesn’t warrant the same desire to want to look your best and give a good impression. Even looking good for the school run is a reasonable aspiration for all the yummy mummies out there, and why not! So let us at Hilton Skin & Body Clinics in Reading help you to wow your family, friends and work colleagues with the cosmetic skin treatments that we can offer, including the non-surgical facelift.

Our non-surgical face lift uses state-of-the-art fractional laser technology called the ClearLift from Alma Lasers.

The ClearLift uses Q-switched laser light therapy which means that as the laser passes over the surface of the skin it can penetrate through the outer layers, (the epidermis), to heat up to 3 millimetres deep within the skin, (into the dermis), without effecting or damaging the epidermis.

Treatment is performed by our qualified therapist and takes around 20 minutes per treatment session, making it a true ‘lunch time face lift’.

Following treatment, the skin starts the regeneration process as new collagen production is stimulated in the deeper dermal layers, and the skin begins to repair and rebuild from the heat-induced damage resulting after treatment.

Results continue to improve in the weeks and months following treatment; you’ll need 3 to 6 treatment sessions, spaced 2 or 3 weeks apart to achieve the best results from the non-surgical laser face lift. Skin will feel tighter, look brighter and appear generally more youthful.

The other great news is that this treatment is suitable for all skin types and all ages, it’s gentle in nature, even on sensitive areas, with some even regarding it as pain-free. You also needn’t worry about looking like you’ve had ‘something done’ as the skin cell damage and collagen regeneration happens deep in the dermis, so the surface of the skin is undamaged. When you leave the clinic after treatment, you won’t experience any redness that would give away the fact that you’d undergone any treatment, (should the paparazzi photographers be waiting!); you’ll simply be on your way to beautiful, healthy, glowing and great skin!

The ClearLift non-surgical laser face lift can be used to lift and firm the face, neck and décolletage (female upper chest), as well as the backs of hands which are often forgotten as an area that suffers from sun damage and premature ageing.

As well as providing an overall facial treatment, we can also target the laser specifically to treat key areas of concern, such as lines and wrinkles on the forehead, between the mouth and nose and around the delicate eye area which suffers from the onset of fine lines and wrinkles as the early signs of ageing start to show.

So, it’s easy to see why this kind of treatment is also a favourite for many celebrities – the lunchtime laser face lift means that we can all benefit from looking after our skin, looking our best, without worrying that our appearance is under constant scrutiny (unless you are of course a celebrity!)

So, if you’re interested in looking ‘red carpet ready’ for your special event (or just for everyday wonderfulness!), then please contact Hilton Skin & Body Clinics to book an appointment for our non-surgical laser face lift.

The Rise of Male Grooming – Wanting to Look Good isn’t Just for Women!

According to news reports, 2015 is the year that male grooming takes centre stage – it seems that men care about their appearance too. It’s not just women who are conscious about how they look, their sense of style, fashion and the ageing process; men have started to realise that making yourself look good is something that they can do too.

Men no longer just roll out of bed, into the shower and out the door to work in five minutes – nowadays men have as much of a skincare and haircare routine as women. Men feel the pressures too, many of them the same ones that women have been talking about for years – the need to keep up with younger work colleagues and look ‘fresh’ in the office, or being newly divorced and out there looking for love again in your 40s or 50s. Looking good and maintaining a youthful appearance is now important to both sexes.

According to market research company Data Monitor, 52% of men consider their appearance to be important or very important to them. A third of them spend at least 30 minutes a day on their personal appearance and admit to touching up their looks throughout the day.

You could be forgiven for thinking that it only applies to A-list celebrities, like Premiership footballers and Hollywood stars, but no – the man in the street wants to and CAN look his best too. More importantly, the desire to use skincare products or visit a cosmetic treatment clinic ,if you’re a bloke, is no longer something to be sniggered at – your mates down the pub are probably all at it too, if you just ask them! The era of facials, manicures, skincare regimes, anti-ageing treatments and even make-up for men is here.

Let’s face it, you want to look good in those selfies that you post on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram now don’t you guys?

Well, worry not, here at Hilton Skin & Body Clinics we can help…and there will be no laughing at the fact that you’re interested in laser hair removal, wrinkle relaxing treatment or help with your acne scarring. Our team regularly treat men in our Reading clinic so you’re in good hands and not alone in visiting a cosmetic clinic.

We can provide men with anti-ageing treatments such as dermal fillers and botulinum toxins to add volume and contour your face, as well as relax lines and wrinkles and improve skin hydration and give you a natural, younger looking appearance.

We can improve on skin texture, tone and colour, including acne scarring, using our microdermabrasion treatments, intense pulsed light (IPL) or skin resurfacing laser, and our electronic dermaroller device to brighten and rejuvenate your skin to bring back your youthful glow.

Bothered by pigmentation or thread veins on your face? Then we have treatments to address those too, including IPL and advanced electrolysis.

So, if looking ‘well groomed’ is good enough for David Beckham or George Clooney, what are you waiting for?…It’s good enough for you too.

Want beach-ready, hair free legs for your summer holidays? Get started now with laser hair removal

It is estimated that a woman may spend over £12,000 in a lifetime (from age 16 to 65) on disposable razors as a solution for removing unwanted hair on their bodies. Of course depilatory creams and waxing, both at home and in a beauty salons, are also widely used. Home waxing solutions are estimated to cost over £11,000 for a lifetime, with in-salon solutions coming in at over £17,000. It’s not cheap managing hairy legs and underarms is it!

You may think that laser hair removal is more expensive than all of those options, but you’d be wrong; in fact it’s very much cheaper.

The result from laser hair removal treatment, a reduction in hair in the area being treated, is considered to be nearly permanent once the treatment programme is completed. This means that there should be no further expense, on an annual basis, as you would have with razors, creams and waxing. It cannot be regarded as 100% permanent as hair may start to grow again based on hormonal changes in a woman throughout her lifetime – pregnancy and menopause for example. However, it is the most permanent solution given how impractical electrolysis is for large area hair removal.

Our prices for laser hair removal sessions on the lower leg start from £150 and a course of treatment, (approximately 6 sessions are recommended), will be £750. So as you can see laser hair removal is a good investment to get your pins ready for summer!

And that’s not all the good news…

Now is a great time to start treatment. This is due to several reasons.

The natural growth cycle of a hair is around 6 weeks, so in order to make sure that we can target all the hair in the area being treated and ‘catch’ them all, we need to treat the area in several sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart.

The laser is designed to target the melanin or pigment in the hair follicle (the darker your hair colouring the better and quicker your results will be), so ideally we want to have as little melanin in the skin to distract the laser light. This makes winter a great time to have laser hair removal, as our skin, which has been under our clothes and not exposed to the sun and tanning for several months, will be at its palest for our skin type. This further optimises your results from treatment. (Although, it is worth noting that the specific laser that we use can treat and produce great results on tanned skin and darker skin types anyway, but the paler you are, for you, it’s still better.)

So, what is laser hair removal?

We use the Soprano ICE Laser from Alma Lasers. This device has revolutionised laser hair removal and made it virtually painless. It uses IN-Motion™ technology where the hand piece is always being moved around the skin as it delivers the light energy, this technology has been clinical proven to be effective with over 6 years of study to back it up, and the ICE applicator also cools the skin through integrated systems, which means you will be comfortable throughout treatment.

The treatment works by delivering the laser light energy to the base of the hair follicle. This light is absorbed by the melanin (pigment) in the hair and this destroys it as it heats up. Repeated treatment to target all the follicles in an area and destroy them at the correct stage of their growth will result in the cessation of hair growth and reduction (almost complete removal) of all hair in the treated area.

We can treat legs, underarms, backs, faces, bikini lines and other areas on the body with this technology and free you from the bother of unwanted hair.

To find out more about laser hair removal with the Soprano ICE laser, simply contact Hilton Skin & Body Clinics in Reading today to book an appointment.

Great experience. Very friendly . My hydrafacial feels amazing and looks good .

The clinic really give you good advice in how to look after your skin and didn’t seem too pushy when selling what I needed. I ended having the EDS Dermaroller for my face and neck. I was so worried it would be so painful but surprisingly it's not that bad at all but I did have some anaesthetic cream applied before hand.

The staff are friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. When I arrived everything was explained to me and it was better than I had originally expected. I can’t wait for the next session of microdermabrasion!! I would now recommend them to my friends too.

The clinic is always spotless and has a warm inviting atmosphere. Staff members are extremely knowledgeable about all of their treatments, and they even took the time to speak to me over the phone relating to questions about my treatment before I even booked a consultation. 5 star clinic and would highly recommend to anyone.
